A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Norman Halfpap could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Sven Teufel made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in ΑΕΚ Αthens FC's zone, Norman Halfpap stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven Teufel came out of the goal and Norman Halfpap tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Helmut Vogt fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ΑΕΚ Αthens FC's protests and gave Helmut Vogt a yellow card for diving instead. In the 27th match minute, ΑΕΚ Αthens FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Helmut Vogt to maneuver through the defense. Dreamtown Fc's Lemmy Blankenburg was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 32nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. An unexpected shot in the 34th minute by Lemmy Blankenburg got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wesley Stingl to make the kick off. Felipe Gelb hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Nikolas Pleschke, 56 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Norman Halfpap sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Emmo Kringel took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Ignatius Braak ter to make any attempt to save it. Lemmy Blankenburg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sven Teufel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. If Lemmy Blankenburg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lemmy Blankenburg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lemmy Blankenburg in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sven Teufel saved ΑΕΚ Αthens FC from getting behind. If Lemmy Blankenburg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Norman Halfpap sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sven Teufel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lemmy Blankenburg in the 84th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Lemmy Blankenburg put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Sven Teufel. In the 94th minute Lemmy Blankenburg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven Teufel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Norman Halfpap fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven Teufel having to interfere. There was no doubt that Dreamtown Fc were the better team. Dreamtown Fc's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
