With a little luck, SG Torpedo Dresden's Fjodor Rahne got control of the ball when Lennart Möst tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tord Bergamenter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vasco Henke in the 5th minute of the match. If Delron Zischewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Profibolzer's goalkeeper Tord Bergamenter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Profibolzer's zone, Arnold Lührmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tord Bergamenter came out of the goal and Arnold Lührmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. SG Torpedo Dresden's Arnold Lührmann got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arnold Lührmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tord Bergamenter having to interfere. In the 23rdth minute of the game Vasco Henke who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Profibolzer's Tord Bergamenter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reinald Klingler during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 28 minutes SG Torpedo Dresden's goalkeeper Fjodor Rahne managed, with a little bit of luck, save Karsten Yilmaz's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. Karsten Yilmaz took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fjodor Rahne. Fjodor Rahne dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Delron Zischewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Fjodor Rahne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jakob Propst's late challenge caught a SG Torpedo Dresden's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jakob Propst helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Profibolzer fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 37th minute. Penalty! The referee gave SG Torpedo Dresden a penalty, 39 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Reinald Klingler, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Profibolzer's Tord Bergamenter. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vasco Henke in the 44th minute of play forced Profibolzer's goalkeeper Tord Bergamenter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lennart Möst might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fjodor Rahne. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lennart Möst ran back to his position shaking his head. Delron Zischewski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The referee showed Vasco Henke the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fjodor Rahne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lennart Möst, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Profibolzer's Tord Bergamenter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Profibolzer from getting a goal against them. Tord Bergamenter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnold Lührmann in the 89th minute. Vasco Henke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The SG Torpedo Dresden players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
