Knüverdarp's Roman Bache pulled a muscle in his leg after 5 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Eddi Zellermayer fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hegnauhof FC's protests and gave Eddi Zellermayer a yellow card for diving instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Keanu Baumeister got free with Ivica Münzner in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Primus Stiller hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute of the match Johannes Birke shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ivica Münzner showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Hegnauhof FC's Pius Fezer in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Knüverdarp's goalie prevented a goal. Erich Nagy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lauro Mahler, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Erich Nagy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Edathy in the 19th minute of play. Primus Stiller charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Primus Stiller the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Knüverdarp's Primus Stiller got a free kick in the 21st minute. Johannes Birke, 22 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Keanu Baumeister hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Keanu Baumeister received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Ivica Münzner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marko Rietzke's late challenge caught a Knüverdarp's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marko Rietzke helped the player get up and apologised. After 31 played minutes Hegnauhof FC got a freekick which was hit by Marko Rietzke. When Cosmo Riemann fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Knüverdarp's protests and gave Cosmo Riemann a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Knüverdarp's Cosmo Riemann got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Ivica Münzner made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Pius Fezer sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Knüverdarp's zone, Keanu Baumeister stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivica Münzner came out of the goal and Keanu Baumeister tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pius Fezer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Keanu Baumeister fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivica Münzner having to interfere. Pius Fezer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Ivica Münzner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Keanu Baumeister sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mark Theilen's late challenge caught a Knüverdarp's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mark Theilen helped the player get up and apologised. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Lauro Mahler made the kick off in the second half. If Keanu Baumeister had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 53 minutes of play, Hegnauhof FC's Pius Fezer made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivica Münzner was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ludwig Breilmann kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Hegnauhof FC's Johannes Birke tried to score from far away in the 58th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Pius Fezer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivica Münzner having to interfere. Pius Fezer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roman Edathy during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Roman Edathy hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Johannes Birke took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ivica Münzner. Knüverdarp's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Keanu Baumeister came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Hegnauhof FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Keanu Baumeister couldn't finish the play. If Keanu Baumeister had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Pius Fezer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pius Fezer in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivica Münzner saved Knüverdarp from getting behind. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Knüverdarp's goalkeeper Ivica Münzner, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Pius Fezer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hegnauhof FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pius Fezer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivica Münzner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Keanu Baumeister's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ivica Münzner was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. There was no doubt that Hegnauhof FC were the better team. Hegnauhof FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
