Neulend's Gunther Kreis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jannes Thommes in the 9th minute of play. In the 17th match minute, 1.FC BAYERN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robbie Stöckert to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute, Durs Grupe made a precise shot to the right of Christoph Bollerey. 1.FC BAYERN's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Durs Grupe might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christoph Bollerey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Durs Grupe ran back to his position shaking his head. Durs Grupe's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Christoph Bollerey skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Christoph Bollerey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Durs Grupe, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 34 minutes into the match, Jerome Storm dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Christoph Bollerey, 2-0. After some careless play in the Neulend defense, Mads Abschatz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gunther Kreis. The Neulend fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gunther Kreis should have stopped the shot. Gunther Kreis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Vosswinkel in the 44th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Durs Grupe to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Neulend got a freekick which was hit by Durs Grupe. Gunther Kreis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jannes Thommes in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute, Jerome Storm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Heinz Schmieta hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Neulend's Gunther Kreis got control of the ball when Marco Vosswinkel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Neulend's Gunther Kreis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Neulend from getting a goal against them. Neulend's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ibrahim Vorbeck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Neulend booed when 1.FC BAYERN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mads Abschatz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Neulend's Heinz Schmieta quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Robbie Stöckert, made in the 92nd minute of the game. A collision led to Neulend getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Ali Ertan Kolbow hit a great ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Neulend had played much better football throughout.
