Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Herbert Osterhagen started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the game, Clint Hocker lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Lauritz Roedel. Cem Kerber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herbert Osterhagen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th minute, Lester Hertäg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sylvain Röttgen, 8 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Gerke Hellwig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Cem Kerber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Kai Mauz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With splendid footwork Clint Hocker arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-0 by the left pole in the game's 27th minute. Cem Kerber stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gerke Hellwig's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. FC Ratingen's Gerke Hellwig got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kai Mauz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Lauritz Roedel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clint Hocker blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lauritz Roedel having to make a save. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Lauritz Roedel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clint Hocker, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After having played for 59 minutes, Kai Mauz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Altengesees's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kai Mauz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kai Mauz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kai Mauz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lauritz Roedel having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Altengesees's zone, Herbert Osterhagen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cem Kerber came out of the goal and Herbert Osterhagen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 77 minutes into the match, FC Ratingen's goal looked a bit too open when Kai Mauz came free, but Lauritz Roedel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st match minute, Altengesees was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christoph Königs to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, FC Ratingen's Sylvain Röttgen got a free kick in the 83rd minute. It was beautiful to see Altengesees's Daniel Rump in action when he in the 84th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! If Kai Mauz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clint Hocker scored 3-0 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lauritz Roedel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Altengesees's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
