Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Kai Mauz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Falk Veigel having to make a save. Gottfried Klöting's late challenge caught a Vikings's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gottfried Klöting helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th match minute, Altengesees was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gottfried Klöting to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Altengesees's Clint Hocker got a free kick in the 13th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Benni Erdogan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cem Kerber. Altengesees's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benni Erdogan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Cem Kerber stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benni Erdogan's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Altengesees's goal looked a bit too open when Benni Erdogan came free, but Cem Kerber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Falk Veigel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clint Hocker in the 26th minute of play. Arndt Riester sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Falk Veigel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clint Hocker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Altengesees's Clint Hocker in the 32nd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Falk Veigel was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Vikings through an amazing save. After a rather tough play, Vikings's Matthias Grüner got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes in the game, Kai Mauz dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Clint Hocker who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Falk Veigel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Clint Hocker stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Kai Mauz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stephan Leyh kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Falk Veigel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clint Hocker, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Cem Kerber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benni Erdogan, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After 68 played minutes Vikings got a freekick which was hit by Thaddäus Kebeis. Benni Erdogan struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Arndt Riester received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Cem Kerber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Benni Erdogan came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Vikings fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benni Erdogan couldn't finish the play. Arndt Riester could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Cem Kerber made a huge save. Falk Veigel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kai Mauz in the 85th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kai Mauz in the 88th minute of play forced Vikings's goalkeeper Falk Veigel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Altengesees were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Vikings for a fine match.
