Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) ZüricherFC's Manfred Cabanis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. ZüricherFC's Stefan Segner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Gerstenmaier in the 3rd minute of play. In the 8th minute Manfred Cabanis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niklas Kala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Frank Eitler came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the ZüricherFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Eitler couldn't finish the play. Noel Czerkus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Mank in the 17th minute of play forced Unterhaching's goalkeeper Niklas Kala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Unterhaching getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Nikolaos Trumpf hit a great ball. In the 19th minute, Jules Edinger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raphael Mäncher was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 20th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Niklas Kala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manfred Cabanis, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. When Frank Eitler came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the ZüricherFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Eitler couldn't finish the play. 34 minutes into the match, Unterhaching's goalkeeper Niklas Kala had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Eitler. Frank Eitler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Niklas Kala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manfred Cabanis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Niklas Kala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manfred Cabanis, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Eitler got free with Niklas Kala in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Norman Kreuz made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Unterhaching's goal looked a bit too open when Manfred Cabanis came free, but Niklas Kala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Unterhaching getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Christof Kier hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Unterhaching defense, Frank Eitler kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Niklas Kala. The Unterhaching fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Niklas Kala should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Gerstenmaier got free with Stefan Segner in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Frank Eitler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niklas Kala having to interfere. Niklas Kala stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manfred Cabanis's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Frank Eitler struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Niklas Kala didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ZüricherFC. Manfred Cabanis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Niklas Kala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Eitler in the 76th minute of play forced Unterhaching's goalkeeper Niklas Kala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78thth minute of the game Manfred Cabanis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Unterhaching's Niklas Kala was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Frank Eitler struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Niklas Kala didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ZüricherFC. Thanks to some nice moves Felix Gerstenmaier could shoot a difficult shot in the 84th minute, which Stefan Segner however easily saved by the left post. 86 minutes into the match, Unterhaching's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Eitler came free, but Niklas Kala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Frank Eitler came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the ZüricherFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Eitler couldn't finish the play. In the 96th match minute, Unterhaching was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jules Edinger to maneuver through the defense. 99 minutes had been played when some careless play by Unterhaching's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Raphael Mäncher was slow to take the kick. During this time ZüricherFC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on ZüricherFC's corner Raphael Mäncher fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Niklas Kala quite easily take care of the ball. ZüricherFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
