In the 5thth minute of the game Kai Mauz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Göschitz FC's Eberhard Cardinale was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Göschitz FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kai Mauz came free, but Eberhard Cardinale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Christoph Königs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute Clint Hocker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eberhard Cardinale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Jens Ohmer came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Göschitz FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jens Ohmer couldn't finish the play. In the 19th match minute, Altengesees was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lester Hertäg to maneuver through the defense. After 21 minutes, Ingo Schwaiger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Göschitz FC and the Altengesees players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Altengesees booed when Göschitz FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingo Schwaiger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eberhard Cardinale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clint Hocker in the 26th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lester Hertäg during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Altengesees's Lester Hertäg got a free kick in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clint Hocker in the 30th minute of play forced Göschitz FC's goalkeeper Eberhard Cardinale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lester Hertäg struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Eberhard Cardinale didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Altengesees. In the 40th minute, Torsten Müller got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 43rd minute, Clint Hocker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 54th minute, Kai Mauz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eberhard Cardinale. The goal made the score 0-1. If Kai Mauz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Altengesees's Eberhard Cardinale threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Clint Hocker, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Altengesees's Cem Kerber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torsten Müller in the 63rd minute of play. If Kai Mauz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kai Mauz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Eberhard Cardinale when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Clint Hocker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kai Mauz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Eberhard Cardinale skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Jens Ohmer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clint Hocker received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eberhard Cardinale came out and tried to block the shot, but Clint Hocker slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 80th minute. Clint Hocker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eberhard Cardinale having to interfere. Kai Mauz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Altengesees's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
