Hemmo Dommert who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Calvin Oswald when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Trochtelfingen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Nievelstein should have stopped the shot. Dante Nievelstein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Naber in the 26th minute of the match. Hemmo Dommert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 35 minutes of play, Wemmatia's Karlo Carnitz made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Nievelstein was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Lothar Riedel in the 40th minute of play forced Trochtelfingen's goalkeeper Dante Nievelstein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Lothar Riedel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Wemmatia were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Dante Nievelstein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karlo Carnitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Peter Gehling hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Lothar Riedel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Nievelstein having to interfere. After 58 minutes, Friedrich Juhr mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wemmatia and the Trochtelfingen players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Wemmatia getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Friedrich Juhr hit a great ball. When Wemmatia's Lothar Riedel in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Trochtelfingen's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Trochtelfingen's zone, Karlo Carnitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Nievelstein came out of the goal and Karlo Carnitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Lothar Riedel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wemmatia's supporters rose to their feet, but Lothar Riedel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Nievelstein breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 66 minutes, Pascal Wörner mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trochtelfingen and the Wemmatia players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 71st minute, Karlo Carnitz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dante Nievelstein. The goal made the score 0-4. After 74 minutes, Lothar Riedel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wemmatia and the Trochtelfingen players grew even worse after the yellow card. Yildiray Gaitanzis hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Lothar Riedel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Dante Nievelstein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Trochtelfingen's goalkeeper Dante Nievelstein, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dante Nievelstein made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Lothar Riedel sent off a good shot on target. Lothar Riedel might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dante Nievelstein. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lothar Riedel ran back to his position shaking his head. Dante Nievelstein was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Karlo Carnitz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 89 minute of play. With a little luck, Trochtelfingen's Dante Nievelstein got control of the ball when Lothar Riedel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lothar Riedel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Dante Nievelstein made a huge save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Wemmatia had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
