But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dennis Mam Rostami Boukani couldn't finish the play. 8 minutes into the game, Hendrik Westerman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Yannick Kang was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FC Mikel's Dennis Mam Rostami Boukani got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yannick Kang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hendrik Westerman in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Rainer Paschen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Mikel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Wolfsenergie the free kick. Rainer Paschen kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. If Hendrik Westerman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the match, FC Mikel's Dennis Mam Rostami Boukani sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yannick Kang narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Klaas Zischewski was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 21st minute. FC Wolfsenergie's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When FC Mikel's Hendrik Westerman in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Wolfsenergie's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Hendrik Westerman managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Mikel's supporters rose to their feet, but Hendrik Westerman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yannick Kang breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 31 minutes into the game, Björn Vielmann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Mikel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Wolfsenergie the free kick. In the 31st minute, Björn Vielmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Dennis Mam Rostami Boukani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hendrik Westerman in the 37th minute of play forced FC Wolfsenergie's goalkeeper Yannick Kang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Mikel's Hendrik Westerman got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dennis Mam Rostami Boukani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Yannick Kang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hendrik Westerman to make the kick off. Dennis Mam Rostami Boukani's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Yannick Kang skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to FC Wolfsenergie getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Martin Lehn hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hendrik Westerman in the 57th minute of play forced FC Wolfsenergie's goalkeeper Yannick Kang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yannick Kang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hendrik Westerman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Klaas Zischewski came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the FC Wolfsenergie fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Klaas Zischewski couldn't finish the play. Klaas Zischewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johannes Kunter having to interfere. In the 73rd match minute, FC Wolfsenergie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Lehn to maneuver through the defense. After 74 played minutes, FC Mikel's Andi Scholl shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Yannick Kang came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Mikel reached it. Yannick Kang stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hendrik Westerman's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. 79 minutes into the game, Dennis Mam Rostami Boukani lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Yannick Kang. Yannick Kang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hendrik Westerman in the 89th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, FC Wolfsenergie's goal looked a bit too open when Hendrik Westerman came free, but Yannick Kang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Wolfsenergie's Yannick Kang proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Wolfsenergie from getting a goal against them. Yannick Kang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hendrik Westerman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Klaas Zischewski in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Johannes Kunter saved FC Mikel from getting behind.
