Fortunatus Vengels came out of the goal and Nikolaus Scherrer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Obernbecku's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julius Zürner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Obernbecku booed when Horanspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. If Nikolaus Scherrer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the game, Julius Zürner lined in a short shot 2-3 behind a frustrated Fortunatus Vengels. 67 minutes into the match, Horanspor's goalkeeper Fortunatus Vengels had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julius Zürner. If Ali Witt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julius Zürner struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Fortunatus Vengels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrizio Schebesta in the 84th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julius Zürner got free with Fortunatus Vengels in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Horanspor's Fortunatus Vengels got control of the ball when Julius Zürner tried to sneak it across the goal line. Horanspor's Ekpenyong Franiel got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Obernbecku players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Horanspor from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
