Spectators: 7514 (Terracing: 5636, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) Horanspor's Ali Witt started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 10 minutes into the match, Horanspor's goal looked a bit too open when Oliver Piller came free, but Fortunatus Vengels reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th match minute, Angl FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marc Blumenstiel to maneuver through the defense. Jonas Demuth made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Ekpenyong Franiel sent off a good shot on target. Ali Witt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oliver Piller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fortunatus Vengels having to interfere. Fortunatus Vengels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Murat Detjen in the 21st minute of play. In the 24th minute, Kester Stanke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 25th match minute, Horanspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthias Ebbing to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Murat Detjen in the 27th minute of play forced Horanspor's goalkeeper Fortunatus Vengels to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ali Murat Detjen in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fortunatus Vengels saved Horanspor from getting behind. Fortunatus Vengels didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Francesco Berghoff went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Oliver Piller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Fortunatus Vengels tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fortunatus Vengels showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Murat Detjen, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Horanspor's Fortunatus Vengels played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliver Piller in the 38th minute of play. Fortunatus Vengels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Murat Detjen in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Oliver Piller left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Angl FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Ekpenyong Franiel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Jonas Demuth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Angl FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Ali Murat Detjen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oliver Piller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Fortunatus Vengels tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ali Murat Detjen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ali Murat Detjen in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fortunatus Vengels prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Oliver Piller managed to get in a good position for a shot. Angl FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Oliver Piller was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fortunatus Vengels breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oliver Piller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Fortunatus Vengels tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 76th play minutes Ali Witt shot 1-3, a short shot which went by Jonas Demuth and just under the crossbar into goal. Horanspor were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after Angl FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Addi Zweigler took the corner. The corner led Horanspor's Addi Zweigler to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonas Demuth despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Horanspor's Ali Witt managed to work through Angl FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Ali Witt dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Ali Witt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Demuth having to interfere. Fortunatus Vengels stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ali Murat Detjen's shot from short distance in the 97th minute.
