Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Dominik Schnelle made the kick off which started today's match. 1-0 became the score in the 5th minute when Manfred Hertz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 10 minutes into the match, Fenerbahce314's goal looked a bit too open when Manfred Hertz came free, but Karl-Georg Riegert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Fenerbahce314's zone, Wolfgang Hölderlin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Georg Riegert came out of the goal and Wolfgang Hölderlin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manfred Hertz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wolfgang Hölderlin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Georg Riegert having to interfere. After 18 played minutes Fenerbahce314 got a freekick which was hit by Jochen Talbach. Manfred Hertz's late challenge caught a Fenerbahce314's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manfred Hertz helped the player get up and apologised. Manfred Hertz hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute, Anton Forster ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wolfram Zellier was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 32 played minutes Fenerbahce314 got a freekick which was hit by Guido Hauer. After having played for 33 minutes, Wolfgang Hölderlin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Lengerich 23's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wolfgang Hölderlin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fenerbahce314's goalkeeper Karl-Georg Riegert, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wolfgang Hölderlin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manfred Hertz in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Karl-Georg Riegert, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 40th minute, FC Lengerich 23's Wolfgang Hölderlin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Karl-Georg Riegert. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Fenerbahce314's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wolfgang Hölderlin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Wolfgang Hölderlin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karl-Georg Riegert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manfred Hertz in the 79th minute of the match. If Wolfgang Hölderlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bastian Jelden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Karl-Georg Riegert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute there was a penalty for Fenerbahce314. Casimir Romberg stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Wolfram Zellier. 4-3. FC Lengerich 23 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
