Spectators: 7515 (Terracing: 5637, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Valentin Heinrichs kicked off to start the match. Karl-Georg Riegert came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by LTSC Wasserbillig's Valentin Heinrichs. But to his dismay, Valentin Heinrichs quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 6th match minute, Fenerbahce314 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jochen Talbach to maneuver through the defense. Guido Hauer's late challenge caught a LTSC Wasserbillig's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guido Hauer helped the player get up and apologised. In the 9th minute, Guido Hauer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Manfred Bühler managed to get in a good position for a shot. LTSC Wasserbillig's supporters rose to their feet, but Manfred Bühler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Georg Riegert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valentin Heinrichs in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl-Georg Riegert saved Fenerbahce314 from getting behind. Ellis Kuhlins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manfred Bühler in the 19th minute of play forced Fenerbahce314's goalkeeper Karl-Georg Riegert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute, Abbo Saßmannshausen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 42 played minutes Fenerbahce314 got a freekick which was hit by Jochen Talbach. After having played for 43 minutes, Manfred Bühler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LTSC Wasserbillig's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manfred Bühler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th minute Manfred Bühler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Georg Riegert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anton Forster hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When Manfred Bühler came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the LTSC Wasserbillig fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manfred Bühler couldn't finish the play. Karl-Georg Riegert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Heinrichs in the 61st minute of play. Valentin Heinrichs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manfred Bühler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Karl-Georg Riegert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute of the match, Manfred Bühler got a very nice opportunity to score, but Karl-Georg Riegert was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Fenerbahce314's Karl-Georg Riegert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Heinrichs in the 74th minute of play. Karl-Georg Riegert stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valentin Heinrichs's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Manfred Bühler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 81st match minute, Fenerbahce314 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jochen Talbach to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute Valentin Heinrichs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Georg Riegert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl-Georg Riegert made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manfred Bühler in the 85th minute. Valentin Heinrichs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dominik Schnelle hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. With his leg Karl-Georg Riegert managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when LTSC Wasserbillig's Stephan Seibert fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the final whistle sounded LTSC Wasserbillig left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Fenerbahce314.
