Fenerbahce314's Casimir Romberg was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tim Brenner in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some careless play in the Fenerbahce314 defense, Slaven Schmirgal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karl-Georg Riegert. The Fenerbahce314 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karl-Georg Riegert should have stopped the shot. Hasse Förster sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fenerbahce314's Karl-Georg Riegert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Slaven Schmirgal in the 22nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Wenkendorf's zone, Anton Forster stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tim Brenner came out of the goal and Anton Forster tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Wenkendorf's Hasse Förster got a free kick in the 26th minute. Fenerbahce314's Karl-Georg Riegert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Slaven Schmirgal in the 29th minute of play. In the 34th minute of the game, Anton Forster landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Gabor Hochleitner charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gabor Hochleitner the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 35 played minutes Wenkendorf got a freekick which was hit by Gabor Hochleitner. After 36 played minutes Dominik Schnelle rounded Wenkendorf's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. Jochen Talbach charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jochen Talbach the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Wenkendorf's Slaven Schmirgal got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jochen Talbach in the 46th minute of play forced Wenkendorf's goalkeeper Tim Brenner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Fenerbahce314's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Casimir Romberg in the 54th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Fenerbahce314's zone, Slaven Schmirgal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Georg Riegert came out of the goal and Slaven Schmirgal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 64 minutes into the game, Wenkendorf's Jürg Auchter nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karl-Georg Riegert made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Siegfried Hammermüller charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Siegfried Hammermüller the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Siegfried Hammermüller hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Jürg Auchter succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-4 in the 71st playminute. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Jürg Auchter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wenkendorf's supporters rose to their feet, but Jürg Auchter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Georg Riegert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guido Hauer kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Karl-Georg Riegert stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Slaven Schmirgal's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. In the 87th minute, Siegfried Hammermüller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jürg Auchter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jochen Talbach got his second yellow card in the match during the 91st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Wenkendorf booed when Fenerbahce314 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jochen Talbach didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute of the match, Slaven Schmirgal tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Karl-Georg Riegert saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Slaven Schmirgal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Karl-Georg Riegert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Wenkendorf left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Fenerbahce314.
