Spectators: 7462 (Terracing: 5626, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 111) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Edward Bruns kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute, Frank Hofmeier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 10th minute, Lars Rehmet reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Herrmann Kanoneks. The goal made the score 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Edward Bruns kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Herrmann Kanoneks. That made the score 2-0 in the 14 minute of play. In the 18th minute, Valentin Heinrichs ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Klement Klinkmüller was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Klement Klinkmüller showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manfred Bühler, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Valentin Heinrichs took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Klement Klinkmüller. Klement Klinkmüller dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. RafKas 2008's Klement Klinkmüller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manfred Bühler in the 30th minute of play. When Frank Hofmeier came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the RafKas 2008 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Hofmeier couldn't finish the play. RafKas 2008's Klement Klinkmüller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Heinrichs in the 33rd minute of play. Klement Klinkmüller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Heinrichs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute Edward Bruns shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herrmann Kanoneks saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. RafKas 2008's Klement Klinkmüller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manfred Bühler in the 47th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 51st minute Valentin Heinrichs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klement Klinkmüller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by RafKas 2008's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Willi Renz was slow to take the kick. During this time LTSC Wasserbillig's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Willi Renz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but RafKas 2008's Klement Klinkmüller did a great save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thomas Rihm during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 63rd minute, Thomas Rihm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, RafKas 2008's Lars Rehmet got a free kick in the 77th minute. A hard shot 83 in the game by Manfred Bühler from a close distance when the talented Klement Klinkmüller managed to make a qualified save. RafKas 2008's players were relieved. 84 minutes into the match, LTSC Wasserbillig's Valentin Heinrichs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Klement Klinkmüller narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Valentin Heinrichs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Klement Klinkmüller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. RafKas 2008's Klement Klinkmüller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Heinrichs in the 88th minute of play. RafKas 2008's Thomas Rihm got his second yellow card of the match in the 90th minute. The referee ordered Thomas Rihm off the ground. After 91 played minutes RafKas 2008 got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Rihm. Valentin Heinrichs in the 94thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Klement Klinkmüller, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 96th minute, Valentin Heinrichs fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 96 minutes into the match, LTSC Wasserbillig's Manfred Bühler sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Klement Klinkmüller narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
