Stefano Breitling-Becker might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Herrmann Kanoneks. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stefano Breitling-Becker ran back to his position shaking his head. Tim Werner kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Herrmann Kanoneks took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dieter Guderian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Herrmann Kanoneks showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dieter Guderian in the 10th minute of the match. When Dieter Guderian came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the FC Haudanem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dieter Guderian couldn't finish the play. When FC Haudanem's Stefano Breitling-Becker in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Dieter Guderian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herrmann Kanoneks having to interfere. Anton Korbel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Heinrichs, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. If Dieter Guderian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herrmann Kanoneks took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefano Breitling-Becker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Haudanem's Anton Korbel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save FC Haudanem from getting a goal against them. 46 minutes into the match, FC Haudanem's goalkeeper Anton Korbel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manfred Bühler. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Valentin Heinrichs made the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute, Mark Strunck left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Haudanem fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Anton Korbel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Heinrichs, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute, Siegfried Thomas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karsten Landgraf struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manfred Bühler in the 70th minute of play forced FC Haudanem's goalkeeper Anton Korbel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Haudanem fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 80th minute. Penalty! The referee gave LTSC Wasserbillig a penalty, 83 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Willi Renz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Haudanem's Anton Korbel. 2-1. Anton Korbel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manfred Bühler in the 85th minute of play. Anton Korbel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manfred Bühler in the 88th minute of the match. After 89 played minutes FC Haudanem got a freekick which was hit by Mark Strunck. In the 90th minute, Manfred Bühler ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anton Korbel was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Anton Korbel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manfred Bühler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the FC Haudanem defense, Manfred Bühler kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anton Korbel. The FC Haudanem fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anton Korbel should have stopped the shot.
