Spectators: 6719 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rayk Doll took the kick off in the first half of the match. Wilhelm Seider sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th minute, Wilhelm Seider left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Höchstberg FSV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Sören Schütze took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Bruns, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Klement Klinkmüller was a little too slow when Wilhelm Seider got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 2-0. A collision led to Höchstberg FSV getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Ekkehard Kaehlitz hit a great ball. RafKas 2008's Edward Bruns got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 28 played minutes, RafKas 2008's Sandro Vogelsang shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sören Schütze came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in RafKas 2008 reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Edward Bruns managed to get in a good position for a shot. RafKas 2008's supporters rose to their feet, but Edward Bruns was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sören Schütze breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Frank Hofmeier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frank Hofmeier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Sören Schütze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frank Hofmeier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sören Schütze having to interfere. Edward Bruns might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sören Schütze. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward Bruns ran back to his position shaking his head.

The wind increased when Edward Bruns made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilhelm Seider in the 51st minute of play forced RafKas 2008's goalkeeper Klement Klinkmüller to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Klement Klinkmüller showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilhelm Seider, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Rayk Doll's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Klement Klinkmüller read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Hofmeier got free with Sören Schütze in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Höchstberg FSV's Sören Schütze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Bruns in the 73rd minute of play. Frank Hofmeier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sören Schütze having to interfere. If Edward Bruns had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of RafKas 2008 booed when Höchstberg FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregor Rühle didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as RafKas 2008's Edward Bruns slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sören Schütze. That made the score 2-1 after 90 minutes of play. Sören Schütze showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Bruns in the 94th minute of the match. After having played for 96 minutes, Edward Bruns managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RafKas 2008's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edward Bruns was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Höchstberg FSV support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
