Wolfram Zellier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Heinrichs in the 36th minute of the match. FC Lengerich 23's Wolfram Zellier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Heinrichs in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Valentin Heinrichs made a precise shot to the right of Wolfram Zellier. FC Lengerich 23's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. If Manfred Bühler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute Manfred Bühler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wolfram Zellier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 48th play minute Manfred Hertz came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Herrmann Kanoneks. 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valentin Heinrichs was the one to do the kick off. Manfred Bühler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Wolfram Zellier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manfred Bühler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Wolfram Zellier made a huge save. Valentin Heinrichs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched LTSC Wasserbillig eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
