Spectators: 7814 (Terracing: 5862, Seating: 1797, VIP seats: 155) Wacholderbaum's Patrick-Marc Eckert started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bertram Geibel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patrick-Marc Eckert's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Chris Bell hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After 11 played minutes Wacholderbaum got a freekick which was hit by Gerhard Pechstein. In the 12th minute, Nikolaus Schwaneberg sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Wacholderbaum's Georgi Borchert didn't even have to move. 13 minutes into the match, Wacholderbaum's goal looked a bit too open when Gero Faber came free, but Georgi Borchert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute, Ingo Siebert left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wacholderbaum fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 22nd minute Gero Faber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Georgi Borchert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 34 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Degmarn FSV! Nathan Götting walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After 38 played minutes Degmarn FSV got a freekick which was hit by Ludwig Feiert. Georgi Borchert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gero Faber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tobias Wielert scored 3-1 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Georgi Borchert, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gero Faber to make the kick off. Ludwig Feiert received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Georgi Borchert came out and tried to block the shot, but Ludwig Feiert slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 51st minute. Wacholderbaum's Gerhard Pechstein pulled a muscle in his leg after 63 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 63 minutes into the game, Chris Bell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Degmarn FSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wacholderbaum the free kick. In the 72nd minute of the match, Gero Faber tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Georgi Borchert saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 77th minute, Degmarn FSV's Chris Bell dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-3. After 82 played minutes Degmarn FSV got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Wielert. Patrick-Marc Eckert scored 5-3 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bertram Geibel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bertram Geibel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingo Siebert in the 93rd minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Wacholderbaum had played much better football throughout.
