Gottfried Hollstein dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 25th match minute, FC Ratisbona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernhard Nimz to maneuver through the defense. Gottfried Hollstein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joscha Heiermann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. During the 33rd minute of the match Bernhard Nimz completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bernhard Nimz a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 34th minute, Bernhard Nimz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 36 minutes, Marco Hetz made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC Ratisbona's Sebastian van Hinten tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Joga Bonito 1893's Torsten Hegekötter got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Hartwig Koch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Gottfried Hollstein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Hartwig Koch made the kick off in the second half. Ernesto Rosenzweig might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gottfried Hollstein. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ernesto Rosenzweig ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 58th match minute, Joga Bonito 1893 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torsten Hegekötter to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Joga Bonito 1893's Jerzy Walden got a free kick in the 66th minute. Gunther Meyer made in the 73rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Özcan Ahrendt however managed to control. Moritz Raucher made in the 75th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Ratisbona's Konrad Lojewski. Jacob Wierczimok kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. FC Ratisbona's attentive Konrad Lojewski managed to snatch the ball when Moritz Raucher made a throw-in in the 80th minute of the game. David Leibinger blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gottfried Hollstein having to make a save. In the 86th minute, Jacob Wierczimok hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Ratisbona's Sebastian van Hinten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frederik Riester in the 87th minute of play. In the 94th minute, Hartwig Koch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC Ratisbona were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
