Spectators: 5550 (Terracing: 4500, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 50) FC Preußen Münster's Josef Westermann started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Perry Lelke's late challenge caught a Knallhütte Brauerei FSV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Perry Lelke helped the player get up and apologised. In the 7th minute, Perry Lelke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 10 minutes into the game, Knallhütte Brauerei FSV's Casimir Mutke nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adam Mieß made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 16th match minute, FC Preußen Münster was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nico Kammerer to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute, Josef Westermann reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Uwe Balkov. The goal made the score 1-1. If Josef Westermann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erasmus Mikulasch kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Josef Röwe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Uwe Balkov. Knallhütte Brauerei FSV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Josef Röwe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The audience was convinced that Josef Westermann's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Uwe Balkov was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. During the 40th minute of the match Perry Lelke completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Perry Lelke a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Knallhütte Brauerei FSV booed when FC Preußen Münster was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Perry Lelke didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Casimir Mutke stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kevin Fekecs who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Adam Mieß when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 56th minute, Josef Röwe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 58 minutes into the match, FC Preußen Münster's goal looked a bit too open when Casimir Mutke came free, but Adam Mieß reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Eyjölfur Albrecht fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Knallhütte Brauerei FSV's protests and gave Eyjölfur Albrecht a yellow card for diving instead. In the 60th minute, Eyjölfur Albrecht hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Josef Röwe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Josef Westermann came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the FC Preußen Münster fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Josef Westermann couldn't finish the play. Uwe Balkov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josef Röwe in the 69th minute of play. Josef Röwe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Josef Röwe might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Uwe Balkov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Josef Röwe ran back to his position shaking his head. Josef Röwe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Uwe Balkov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Casimir Mutke fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Adam Mieß, passed just outside the right post. Casimir Mutke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Mieß having to interfere. FC Preußen Münster were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Knallhütte Brauerei FSV for a fine match.
