Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Shawn Kissel kicked off to start the match. Detlef Schapiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sascha Schwind having to interfere. Shawn Kissel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bert Becker made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Philipp Arnim sent off a good shot on target. Oldenbüttel's Detlef Schapiro got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bert Becker was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Philipp Arnim capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Philipp Arnim really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Julius Gielchen charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Julius Gielchen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Levan Schub in the 19th minute of play forced Hansa Manni's goalkeeper Sascha Schwind to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Hansa Manni defense, Levan Schub kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sascha Schwind. The Hansa Manni fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sascha Schwind should have stopped the shot. In the 24th minute, Shawn Kissel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Levan Schub might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sascha Schwind. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Levan Schub ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Oldenbüttel's goalkeeper Bert Becker, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sascha Schwind made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Detlef Schapiro in the 33rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Oldenbüttel's zone, Shawn Kissel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bert Becker came out of the goal and Shawn Kissel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Shawn Kissel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Bert Becker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marc Huhn kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the game, Gunter Fochler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oldenbüttel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hansa Manni the free kick. In the 39th minute, Gunter Fochler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Hansa Manni's zone, Detlef Schapiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sascha Schwind came out of the goal and Detlef Schapiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Detlef Schapiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Detlef Schapiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Hansa Manni's zone, Levan Schub stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sascha Schwind came out of the goal and Levan Schub tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 52 minutes into the game, Rafael Schick was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hansa Manni's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oldenbüttel the free kick. Detlef Schapiro got in the 54th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Sascha Schwind handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. If Rochus Dey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bert Becker came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Hansa Manni's Philipp Arnim. But to his dismay, Philipp Arnim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Detlef Schapiro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sascha Schwind came out and tried to block the shot, but Detlef Schapiro slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 74th minute. Philipp Arnim blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bert Becker having to make a save. Shawn Kissel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marc Huhn's late challenge caught a Hansa Manni's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marc Huhn helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Oldenbüttel getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Marc Huhn hit a great ball. When Philipp Arnim came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Hansa Manni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Philipp Arnim couldn't finish the play. If Levan Schub had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Levan Schub sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
