Khalid Kennedy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 90th minute, one of Adapazarı FK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Adapazarı FK. Germano Espinosa had in the 93rdth minute some difficulties stopping Micah Macdonald's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball In the 93rd minute, Micah Macdonald made a precise shot to the right of Germano Espinosa. Adapazarı FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-7. In the 96th minute, Issac Dawson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. England's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
