Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5875, Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 50) 2 minutes into the match, Heider FC's goal looked a bit too open when Franz Neumann came free, but Burkhard Wolf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gino Van Herendael made a great header on Hertha 1969's corner, it was just that Heider FC's Burkhard Wolf managed to reach the ball for a save. Gino Van Herendael kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. The Hertha 1969 fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Hertha 1969's Franz Neumann looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 13 minutes into the game, Hertha 1969's Franz Neumann nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Burkhard Wolf made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 16th minute, Damien Narten left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hertha 1969 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 24th minute, Franz Neumann ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Burkhard Wolf was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Franz Neumann in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Burkhard Wolf saved Heider FC from getting behind. Franz Neumann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Franz Neumann in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Burkhard Wolf saved Heider FC from getting behind. Franz Neumann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Hertha 1969's Emmerich Aumüller got a free kick in the 34th minute. After 39 minutes, Henrik Balterschütz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Heider FC and the Hertha 1969 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Henrik Balterschütz kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Niko Tranenskær was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 40th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Franz Neumann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Franz Neumann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hertha 1969's supporters rose to their feet, but Franz Neumann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Burkhard Wolf breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The wind increased when Franz Neumann made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Damien Narten made a precise shot to the right of Burkhard Wolf. Heider FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Heider FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Franz Neumann scored to the left of an out of position Burkhard Wolf, making the score, 0-7. If Franz Neumann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Hertha 1969 booed when Heider FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niclas Donath didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hertha 1969's Franz Neumann got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Franz Neumanns short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Burkhard Wolf to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Henrik Balterschütz kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Burkhard Wolf was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Franz Neumann capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Franz Neumann really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. If Franz Neumann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Heider FC made a substitution. Lemmy Sylvester replaced Erwin Stöhr. After 69 minutes, Franz Neumann made it 0-9 with a short kick to the right side. Heider FC's Burkhard Wolf tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 79 played minutes Heider FC got a freekick which was hit by Niclas Donath. Franz Neumann received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Burkhard Wolf came out and tried to block the shot, but Franz Neumann slotted it home off the left post making it 0-11 in the 84th minute. After having played for 88 minutes, Niko Tranenskær managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hertha 1969's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niko Tranenskær was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Franz Neumann in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Burkhard Wolf saved Heider FC from getting behind. Lennard Finkenrath showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torger Insel in the 94th minute of the match. Hertha 1969's Franz Neumann got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hertha 1969 played a much better game than Heider FC and deserved their victory. The Heider FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
