Klaus Fydrich was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Stierstadt FSV's Lars Bowermann got a free kick in the 10th minute. Otto Knauf scored 2-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Klaus Fydrich, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stefano Nork couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Franz Pape made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Hannes Rösler left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stierstadt FSV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. The supporters of Langereihe FC booed when Stierstadt FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hannes Rösler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nemo Bucher kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. The corner led to Stierstadt FSV's Otto Knauf getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After 69 minutes, Ludo Muth mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Langereihe FC and the Stierstadt FSV players grew even worse after the yellow card. Klaus Fydrich didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ferdi Wirth went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Stierstadt FSV had played much better football throughout.
