Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Mertendorf FC's Nicolas Thein started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ludo Muth hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Klaus Fydrich came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Mertendorf FC's Lars Oliver Johannsen. But to his dismay, Lars Oliver Johannsen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Michael Waldschmidt hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute of the match Isidor Böttcher shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Klaus Fydrich showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 17th minute Nicolas Thein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klaus Fydrich saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the game, Nikolas Bockisch was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mertendorf FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Langereihe FC the free kick. Nikolas Bockisch kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Balko Murschel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christof Baier having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Langereihe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Thein came free, but Klaus Fydrich reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 31 played minutes Langereihe FC got a freekick which was hit by Sören Hofstee. Klaus Fydrich didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicolas Thein went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Christof Baier made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Balko Murschel sent off a good shot on target. In the 40th minute Lars Oliver Johannsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klaus Fydrich saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st match minute, Mertendorf FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl Schiele to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Mertendorf FC's Christof Baier got control of the ball when Franz Pape tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Mertendorf FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Nikolas Bockisch hit a great ball.

After 55th play minutes Franz Pape shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Christof Baier and just under the crossbar into goal. Balko Murschel struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Christof Baier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Langereihe FC. After having played for 60 minutes, Lars Oliver Johannsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mertendorf FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lars Oliver Johannsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nikolas Bockisch got his second yellow card in the match during the 63rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Nikolas Bockisch kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Mertendorf FC's goal looked a bit too open when Balko Murschel came free, but Christof Baier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Nicolas Thein fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mertendorf FC's protests and gave Nicolas Thein a yellow card for diving instead. Nicolas Thein kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Balko Murschel in the 68th minute of play forced Mertendorf FC's goalkeeper Christof Baier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd match minute, Langereihe FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andi Haase to maneuver through the defense. After 74 played minutes Langereihe FC got a freekick which was hit by Andi Haase. In the 81st minute, Franz Pape hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute Nicolas Thein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klaus Fydrich saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th play minute Lars Oliver Johannsen came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Klaus Fydrich. 2-3. Christof Baier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Balko Murschel in the 88th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Langereihe FC's Eyjölfur Krieglmeier got a free kick in the 91st minute. Christof Baier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludo Muth in the 93rd minute of the match. The Mertendorf FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
