Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Wilken Winterstein kicked off to start the match. Christof Baier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christoph Ganz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Mertendorf FC's Lars Oliver Johannsen got a free kick in the 5th minute. 8 minutes into the match, FC Eisleben's Wilken Winterstein sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christof Baier narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Niels Wege was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Karl Schiele showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. The supporters of FC Eisleben booed when Mertendorf FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Thein didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Wilken Winterstein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Wilken Winterstein, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 20 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Christof Baier was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Tobias Rothschild might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christof Baier. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tobias Rothschild ran back to his position shaking his head. Mark Walti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christof Baier having to interfere. Benedikt Berghorn charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benedikt Berghorn the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 32nd match minute, FC Eisleben was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedikt Berghorn to maneuver through the defense. Niels Wege made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lars Oliver Johannsen in the 33rd minute. Christof Baier came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Eisleben's Christoph Ganz. But to his dismay, Christoph Ganz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Tobias Rothschild received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Christof Baier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mark Walti blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christof Baier having to make a save. Wilken Winterstein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 46th minute, Wilken Winterstein ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christof Baier was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

51 minutes into the match, FC Eisleben's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Thein came free, but Niels Wege reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilken Winterstein blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christof Baier having to make a save. Christof Baier stood somewhat misplaced when Wilken Winterstein came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 59 minute. Tobias Rothschild sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Christoph Ganz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Nicolas Thein managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mertendorf FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolas Thein was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niels Wege breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wilken Wintersteins short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Christof Baier to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 77 minutes into the match, FC Eisleben's goal looked a bit too open when Nikolas Bockisch came free, but Niels Wege reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christof Baier was a little too slow when Christoph Ganz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 1-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Christoph Ganz managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Eisleben's supporters rose to their feet, but Christoph Ganz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. FC Eisleben's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilken Winterstein was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Nikolas Bockisch had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Niels Wege. FC Eisleben's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nikolas Bockisch was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. In the 90th minute, David Bokan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mertendorf FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4. Mark Walti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Eisleben's Tobias Rothschild got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match was over FC Eisleben could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mertendorf FC throughout the match.
