Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gino Van Herendael got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Hertha 1969's Beniamin Zbytniewski got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 9th minute Gino Van Herendael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klaus Fydrich saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Gino Van Herendael sped through Langereihe FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Klaus Fydrich. The Hertha 1969 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damien Narten in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Klaus Fydrich saved Langereihe FC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gino Van Herendael in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Klaus Fydrich prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 28th minute, Gino Van Herendael left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hertha 1969 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. In the 32nd minute, Gino Van Herendael got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Damien Narten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Klaus Fydrich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hertha 1969's Lennard Finkenrath played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franz Pape in the 37th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Gino Van Herendael put it in 0-7 from a short distance just to the right of Klaus Fydrich. Gino Van Herendael recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Emmerich Aumüller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 52 played minutes Langereihe FC got a freekick which was hit by Johannes Kugler-Wendt. 54 minutes into the game, Sören Hofstee was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Langereihe FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hertha 1969 the free kick. After 54 played minutes Langereihe FC got a freekick which was hit by Sören Hofstee. The audience was convinced that Gino Van Herendael's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Klaus Fydrich was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ludo Muth during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Hertha 1969 booed when Langereihe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ludo Muth didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gino Van Herendael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gino Van Herendael got free with Klaus Fydrich in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Emmerich Aumüller received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Klaus Fydrich came out and tried to block the shot, but Emmerich Aumüller slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 65th minute. Gino Van Herendael did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-10 to the left of a surprised Klaus Fydrich 70 minutes into the match. If Gino Van Herendael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gino Van Herendael had several of the Langereihe FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 78 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-12 score and a disappointed Klaus Fydrich as he didn't even see the shot coming. Damien Narten took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Klaus Fydrich. Klaus Fydrich dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-13. In the 85th minute, Gino Van Herendael fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Klaus Fydrich, passed just outside the right post. After 87 played minutes Langereihe FC got a freekick which was hit by Andi Haase. Klaus Fydrich stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gino Van Herendael's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Emmerich Aumüller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Klaus Fydrich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Hertha 1969's Gino Van Herendael in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Langereihe FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 96thth minute of the game Gino Van Herendael who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Langereihe FC's Klaus Fydrich was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hertha 1969's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
