Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Matthias Thielen started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, FCWesel's Herbert Hemling got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Jost Werlberger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Herbert Hemling in the 7th minute. In the 11th minute, Bernhard Honecker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute Matthias Thielen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jost Werlberger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernhard Honecker took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marc Waidner. FCWesel's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Shingo Böhlen in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marc Waidner saved FCWesel from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Max Weise in the 22nd minute of play forced FCWesel's goalkeeper Marc Waidner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FCWesel's Raoul Erfurt got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jost Werlberger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Herbert Hemling in the 30th minute. In the 35th minute, Max Weise made a precise shot to the right of Marc Waidner. FCWesel's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 39 minutes into the match, Shingo Böhlen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marc Waidner. FCWesel's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Shingo Böhlen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the game's 43rd minute Tirgrathsfeld's Shingo Böhlen took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Marc Waidner and thus the score was 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Shingo Böhlen to strike the kick off in the second half. FCWesel's Marc Waidner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shingo Böhlen in the 52nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, FCWesel's Domingo Scholz got a free kick in the 56th minute. After a rather tough play, Tirgrathsfeld's Elia Stuber got a free kick in the 61st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matthias Thielen in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jost Werlberger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Elia Stuber hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Tirgrathsfeld's Jost Werlberger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raoul Erfurt in the 65th minute of play. Herbert Hemling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jost Werlberger having to interfere. The supporters of FCWesel booed when Tirgrathsfeld was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elia Stuber didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had been going on for 77 minutes, Tirgrathsfeld's Shingo Böhlen got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Marc Waidner. With a little luck, FCWesel's Marc Waidner got control of the ball when Max Weise tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jost Werlberger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herbert Hemling, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Elmar Peschke got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jost Werlberger quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 88th minute, Shingo Böhlen fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Bernhard Honecker kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Tirgrathsfeld's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
