Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dix Kromm to make the kick off. The supporters of FC Bayern München booed when CCONE-Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anton Stecher didn't get a good kick on the ball. CCONE-Team's Hermann Kress got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Rainer Witt kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jakob Piepenburg. That made the score 1-3 in the 81 minute of play.
