Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) FCWesel's Matthias Thielen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 minutes, Otto-Stephan Trachsel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the sv Glehn and the FCWesel players grew even worse after the yellow card. Otto-Stephan Trachsel kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Gunnar Dagdelen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uffe Jakobs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, FCWesel's Uffe Jakobs got a free kick in the 6th minute. Raoul Erfurt kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikolas Baum in the 12th minute of play forced sv Glehn's goalkeeper Gunnar Dagdelen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Roberto Becker's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gunnar Dagdelen was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Lothar Nonnenmacher kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Roberto Becker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunnar Dagdelen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Nikolas Baum made a precise shot to the right of Gunnar Dagdelen. sv Glehn's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Gunnar Dagdelen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbert Hemling in the 24th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Nikolas Baum had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gunnar Dagdelen. sv Glehn's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nikolas Baum was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Otto-Stephan Trachsel hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Gunnar Dagdelen came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by FCWesel's Herbert Hemling. But to his dismay, Herbert Hemling quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 32nd minute Uffe Jakobs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunnar Dagdelen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Matthias Thielen notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of sv Glehn's Gunnar Dagdelen. Gunnar Dagdelen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gunnar Dagdelen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uffe Jakobs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Matthias Thielen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The sv Glehn players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FCWesel were winning 0-6.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Per Schrag stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute of the match, Nikolas Baum tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gunnar Dagdelen saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of FCWesel booed when sv Glehn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Levan Manz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elmar Peschke was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 57th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. sv Glehn's Gunnar Dagdelen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikolas Baum in the 59th minute of play. Gunnar Dagdelen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikolas Baum in the 60th minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Herbert Hemling cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Gunnar Dagdelen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Roberto Becker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Gunnar Dagdelen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikolas Baum in the 67th minute of play forced sv Glehn's goalkeeper Gunnar Dagdelen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gunnar Dagdelen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Matthias Thielen showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 69 minute of play. Gunnar Dagdelen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikolas Baum, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Matthias Dowe fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored sv Glehn's protests and gave Matthias Dowe a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, sv Glehn's Matthias Dowe got a free kick in the 73rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikolas Baum in the 76th minute of play forced sv Glehn's goalkeeper Gunnar Dagdelen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Levan Manz kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Roberto Becker reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gunnar Dagdelen. The goal made the score 0-9. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Matthias Thielen took a quick shot and it went in 0-10 without a chance for Gunnar Dagdelen to make any attempt to save it. Gunnar Dagdelen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uffe Jakobs in the 91st minute of play. After some careless play in the sv Glehn defense, Raoul Erfurt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gunnar Dagdelen. The sv Glehn fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gunnar Dagdelen should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Herbert Hemling got free with Gunnar Dagdelen in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FCWesel's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
