FC Piggie's Adriano Knorra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torge Honsel in the 23rd minute of play. After 40 played minutes FC Piggie got a freekick which was hit by Nicolai Domeier. Eberhard Anrute could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Adriano Knorra made a huge save. Torge Honsel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adriano Knorra having to interfere. After 45 minutes, Karel Ziegelmüller mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hoser and the FC Piggie players grew even worse after the yellow card. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Torge Honsel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nicolai Domeier's late challenge caught a Hoser's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicolai Domeier helped the player get up and apologised. After 58 played minutes FC Piggie got a freekick which was hit by Nicolai Domeier. When Hoser's Torge Honsel in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Piggie's goalie prevented a goal. Mario Michel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dante Mersmann in the 65th minute of the match. With his leg Mario Michel managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when FC Piggie's Eilert von Puttkammer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After recieving a nice pass, Hoser's Karel Ziegelmüller tried to score from far away in the 74th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Eilert von Puttkammer struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Mario Michel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Piggie. Adriano Knorra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eberhard Anrute in the 78th minute of play. 82 minutes into the game, Ken Scherer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hoser's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Piggie the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 82nd minute of the game. One of Hoser:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Piggie:s goal. Hoser's Mario Michel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dante Mersmann in the 93rd minute of play. Mario Michel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dante Mersmann in the 97th minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
