After some careless play in the Hoser defense, Manfred Klimke kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mario Michel. The Hoser fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mario Michel should have stopped the shot. Mario Michel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastian Finkenrath went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eberhard Anrute got free with Jacob Kobel in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 25 minutes, Kuno Zellier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Spandauer Rain Kings and the Hoser players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kuno Zellier hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Spandauer Rain Kings's Jacob Kobel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torge Honsel in the 27th minute of play. Hoser were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Spandauer Rain Kings's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Karel Ziegelmüller took the corner. A very nice done corner allowed Luca Gauweiler to score against Jacob Kobel in Spandauer Rain Kings's goal. 1-2 after 29 minutes. In the 36th match minute, Spandauer Rain Kings was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philipp Grentz to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Karel Ziegelmüller in the 36th minute really tested Jacob Kobel's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Jacob Kobel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eberhard Anrute in the 39th minute. Torge Honsel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Georg Hechler's late challenge caught a Spandauer Rain Kings's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Georg Hechler helped the player get up and apologised. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Mario Michel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Manfred Klimke showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 53 minute of play. In the 57th minute Eberhard Anrute shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacob Kobel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 59 played minutes Hoser got a freekick which was hit by Ken Scherer. György Streich hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the match, Hoser's Torge Honsel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacob Kobel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 67thth minute of the game Torge Honsel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Spandauer Rain Kings's Jacob Kobel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jacob Kobel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torge Honsel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. György Streich hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Jacob Kobel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torge Honsel, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Mario Michel didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 97th minute, which inside left pole to 1-4. The Spandauer Rain Kings supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Spandauer Rain Kings would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
