The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tobias Pfirrmann during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 7 played minutes Dellerhof got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Pfirrmann. Franz Reiche blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Egbert Fedde having to make a save. Olav Böringer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egbert Fedde having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Franz Reiche reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Egbert Fedde. The goal made the score 1-0. TSV Bad Blankenburg's Sylvain Lawen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henning Bierwirth in the 17th minute of play. Henning Bierwirth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21st minute Franz Reiche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egbert Fedde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Theophil Brugger ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sylvain Lawen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Franz Reiche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peter Goldmann kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Henning Bierwirth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 46th minute Franz Reiche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egbert Fedde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Franz Reiche to strike the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, TSV Bad Blankenburg's goal looked a bit too open when Theophil Brugger came free, but Sylvain Lawen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dellerhof's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Olav Böringer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. If Lasse Bästlein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lasse Bästlein hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Dellerhof's Horst März couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for TSV Bad Blankenburg. In the 94th minute Franz Reiche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egbert Fedde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The TSV Bad Blankenburg supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Dellerhof's performance. The match ended with a win for Dellerhof.
