Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Olaf Humbert took the kick off in the first half of the match. With an all-out effort, Moselkern's Raimund Genzwürker threw himself towards the right post 3 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Olaf Humbert, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Raimund Genzwürker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olaf Humbert in the 5th minute of play. When Jaap Geenen came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Moselkern fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaap Geenen couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Olaf Humbert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moselkern's supporters rose to their feet, but Olaf Humbert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raimund Genzwürker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 13th minute, Jaap Geenen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 14th match minute, Unterelsaff FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alois Krenn to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th match minute, Moselkern was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hippo Winterhalter to maneuver through the defense. A hard and well directed shot from Maximilian Huff led 19 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Moselkern's Daniel Kalb became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-1. In the 22nd minute, Olaf Humbert fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Raimund Genzwürker, passed just outside the right post. Hippo Winterhalter charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hippo Winterhalter the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hippo Winterhalter kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Jaap Geenen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Raimund Genzwürker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jaap Geenen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 42 played minutes, Moselkern's Ralph Havemann shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Raimund Genzwürker came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Moselkern reached it. 45 minutes into the match, Unterelsaff FC's goal looked a bit too open when Olaf Humbert came free, but Raimund Genzwürker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Moselkern players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Unterelsaff FC were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Andre Brandl made the kick off in the second half. If Andre Brandl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jaap Geenen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Raimund Genzwürker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 59 minutes of play Moselkern's Hippo Winterhalter was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 60th match minute, Moselkern was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hippo Winterhalter to maneuver through the defense. Jaap Geenen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Andre Brandl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raimund Genzwürker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olaf Humbert, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Jaap Geenen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Unterelsaff FC's Darius Schönmoser got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Unterelsaff FC's Andre Brandl got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 86th minute, Jaap Geenen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Unterelsaff FC's Darius Schönmoser got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Moselkern lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
