The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Leonhard Faber kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Diego Gögge charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diego Gögge the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 6th minute of the match Leonhard Faber shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Curt Zutt showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Adolf Ammermann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dagginho FC's Günter Protze got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolf Ammermann in the 15th minute of play forced Dagginho FC's goalkeeper Rainald Wenck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Dagginho FC's zone, Günter Hirschberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rainald Wenck came out of the goal and Günter Hirschberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joseph Waßmuth hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute of the match Diego Gögge sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rainald Wenck skillfully saved the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Adolf Ammermann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rainald Wenck. Dagginho FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adolf Ammermann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Dagginho FC's Marc Lemke got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Curt Zutt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Günter Protze, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 33rd minute Marc Lemke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Curt Zutt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adolf Ammermann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Federico Heynemann's late challenge caught a Niederkell's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Federico Heynemann helped the player get up and apologised. Federico Heynemann kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After 36 played minutes, Niederkell's Diego Gögge shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rainald Wenck came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Niederkell reached it. Walther Schöpfer hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. If Günter Protze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marc Lemke stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 52 in the game by Marc Lemke from a close distance when the talented Curt Zutt managed to make a qualified save. Niederkell's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Frederik Alfert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dagginho FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Frederik Alfert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Curt Zutt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Frederik Alfert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Federico Heynemann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Curt Zutt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Frederik Alfert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Frederik Alfert struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Curt Zutt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dagginho FC. In the 69th minute, Frederik Alfert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Niederkell's Rik Buchwalder got a free kick in the 71st minute. With a little luck, Niederkell's Curt Zutt got control of the ball when Marc Lemke tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 75th minute, Frederik Alfert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dagginho FC's Rainald Wenck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolf Ammermann in the 76th minute of play. Frederik Alfert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 89 minutes, Leonhard Faber mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dagginho FC and the Niederkell players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 89th match minute, Dagginho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonhard Faber to maneuver through the defense. Niederkell's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Günter Protze scored to the left of an out of position Curt Zutt, making the score, 1-3. Walther Schöpfer hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Niederkell's zone, Marc Lemke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Curt Zutt came out of the goal and Marc Lemke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over Dagginho FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Niederkell throughout the match.
