An unexpectedly hard shot by Henning Walloch in the 3rd minute of play forced Brockensen FSV's goalkeeper Marc Kosten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Brockensen FSV booed when Thalbach FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Konrad Hauck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thalbach FC's Maximilian Bromme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulrich Richter in the 9th minute of play. Brix Wiest received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Maximilian Bromme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brix Wiest could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Maximilian Bromme made a huge save. Henning Walloch struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Marc Kosten didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Thalbach FC. Henning Walloch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Marc Kosten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Brockensen FSV getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Akim Koellner hit a great ball. If Joschka Kau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marc Kosten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henning Walloch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, Thalbach FC's goalkeeper Maximilian Bromme had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brix Wiest. If Ulrich Richter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximilian Bromme made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brix Wiest in the 42nd minute. After 48 minutes, Chris Dinges mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brockensen FSV and the Thalbach FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Chris Dinges hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see Thalbach FC's Markus Zutt in action when he in the 49th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Joschka Kau made the kick off in the second half. Joschka Kau succeeded in the game's 54th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Maximilian Bromme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulrich Richter, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute Ulrich Richter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximilian Bromme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Thalbach FC's goal looked a bit too open when Brix Wiest came free, but Maximilian Bromme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marc Kosten didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Henning Walloch went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 90th match minute, Thalbach FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Konrad Hauck to maneuver through the defense. Brix Wiest received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Maximilian Bromme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 98 played minutes Brockensen FSV got a freekick which was hit by Kai Burgmann. Henning Walloch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 99th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Thalbach FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
