The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Darius Schönmoser made a kick off. Curt Zutt made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Darius Schönmoser sent off a good shot on target. When Alois Krenn fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Unterelsaff FC's protests and gave Alois Krenn a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd minute, Alois Krenn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Niederkell fans cheered their team off the field, for while Unterelsaff FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
