Gohfeld's Marc Flecken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noel Grundmann in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ralph Perschke was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, 沈青海 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Moritz Lütke was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With 59 minutes on the clock, Achim Bockisch commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in VfB Ailingen fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! Dins Rencis struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Moritz Lütke didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gohfeld. Moritz Lütke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karim Adeyemi, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. 96 minutes into the match, 沈青海 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Moritz Lütke. VfB Ailingen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 沈青海 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-12. When the match was over Gohfeld could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than VfB Ailingen throughout the match.
