To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 12 minutes, Karl Martin Funk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Süsel and the Seeleiten FSV players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Süsel's Karl Martin Funk got a free kick in the 12th minute. The supporters of Seeleiten FSV booed when Süsel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vlado Fischer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Seeleiten FSV had won after a very even match.
