Béla Deck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oberlandscheid's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Petrolul the free kick. The supporters of Petrolul booed when Oberlandscheid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arno Flamme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Linus Mattern fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominik Schwab having to interfere. The throw-in from Lars Kotter in the 43rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Petrolul's Lester Aumann. 47 minutes into the match, Oberlandscheid's Arno Flamme sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hansel Golz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Béla Deck made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Béla Deck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A throw-in in the 53rd minute of the game was made by Lars Kotter with Edgar Muchow as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Marco Gerick kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After 56 played minutes Petrolul got a freekick which was hit by Lester Aumann. Bernhard Kirchratt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the match, Béla Deck had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dominik Schwab. Oberlandscheid's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Béla Deck was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Lars Kotter made in the 72nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Boris Berger immediately put the ball in play. Dominik Schwab came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Petrolul's Béla Deck. But to his dismay, Béla Deck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Linus Mattern blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dominik Schwab having to make a save. Béla Deck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Dominik Schwab tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Béla Deck might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dominik Schwab. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Béla Deck ran back to his position shaking his head. Dominik Schwab made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Béla Deck in the 87th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Petrolul's Lester Aumann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dominik Schwab narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Béla Deck struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Dominik Schwab didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Petrolul. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Béla Deck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Petrolul's supporters rose to their feet, but Béla Deck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dominik Schwab breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There was no doubt that Petrolul were the better team. Petrolul's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
