The referee showed Gustel Koroschetz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 31st minute, Boris Berger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernhard Kirchratt took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jakob Bohland. Jakob Bohland dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 46 minutes into the game, Bernhard Kirchratt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Jakob Bohland was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wolfgang Schnitzler to make the kick off. Wolfgang Schnitzler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Dominik Schwab tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 53 minutes into the match, Oberlandscheid's goal looked a bit too open when Wolfgang Schnitzler came free, but Dominik Schwab reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
