An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Bodin in the 5th minute of play forced Petrolul's goalkeeper Hansel Golz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hansel Golz made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Blas Patxi sent off a good shot on target. If Yannik Laux had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hansel Golz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Bodin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hansel Golz made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Flavio Bodin sent off a good shot on target. In the 27th minute Yannik Laux shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hansel Golz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hansel Golz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Bodin, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Blas Patxi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Hansel Golz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Petrolul's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Bodin came free, but Hansel Golz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Wichenhausen FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Béla Deck came free, but Elvis Ducke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hansel Golz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ephraim Matetzki in the 41st minute. In the 45th minute Béla Deck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvis Ducke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Béla Deck stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Petrolul's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wichenhausen FSV the free kick. Hartmut Breyer hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute, Flavio Bodin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wichenhausen FSV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Béla Deck received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Elvis Ducke came out and tried to block the shot, but Béla Deck slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 69th minute. After some careless play in the Petrolul defense, Flavio Bodin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hansel Golz. The Petrolul fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hansel Golz should have stopped the shot. Yannik Laux took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hansel Golz. Hansel Golz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. 86 minutes into the game, Philipp Pethe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wichenhausen FSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Petrolul the free kick. After 86 played minutes Wichenhausen FSV got a freekick which was hit by Philipp Pethe. Elvis Ducke made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Jo Körper sent off a good shot on target. Hansel Golz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blas Patxi, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 93rd minute Yannik Laux shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hansel Golz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Béla Deck fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Petrolul's protests and gave Béla Deck a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th match minute, Petrolul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Béla Deck to maneuver through the defense. Petrolul were furious when Hermann van de Logt was red carded, 97 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Petrolul fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 97th minute. Penalty! Petrolul's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Wichenhausen FSV had won, even though Petrolul had held more of the ball.
