Muddaphukkerz's Percy Gürtler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jo Körper in the 4th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Hansjörg Zach in the 11th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Petrolul's Hermann van de Logt. 14 minutes in the game Tobias Lammert did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Albert Bernhard. In the 15th minute of the match Tobias Lammert shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hansel Golz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Marco Stelze fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Muddaphukkerz's protests and gave Marco Stelze a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Muddaphukkerz's Marco Stelze got a free kick in the 17th minute. Hansjörg Zach kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Marco Stelze put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Hansel Golz. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Petrolul's goalkeeper Hansel Golz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Linus Mattern recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marco Stelze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Hansel Golz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Petrolul's attentive Lester Aumann managed to snatch the ball when Hansjörg Zach made a throw-in in the 41st minute of the game. Jo Körper recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lester Aumann hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Béla Deck could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Percy Gürtler made a huge save. In the 60th match minute, Muddaphukkerz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fritz Bloch to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute Marco Stelze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hansel Golz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Linus Mattern had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Béla Deck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hansel Golz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eskil Brenner, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute Albert Bernhard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hansel Golz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fritz Bloch in the 88th minute of play forced Petrolul's goalkeeper Hansel Golz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hansel Golz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Stelze, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. 95 minutes into the game, Albert Bernhard cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Hansel Golz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Many of Petrolul's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Petrolul may have spent more time on the ball, but Muddaphukkerz were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
