Spectators: 8021 (Terracing: 6018, Seating: 1844, VIP seats: 159) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Werner Korff took the kick off in the first half of the match. Luigi Kursawe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Schmerold booed when FC Hawaii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petrus Räder didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Paulus Fechner fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Hawaii's protests and gave Paulus Fechner a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th minute Bastian Jursch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horst Dürr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute, Werner Korff hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the match, Luigi Kursawe notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC Hawaii's Horst Dürr. Horst Dürr was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Horst Dürr made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Willi Koslowski in the 26th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Schmerold's goal looked a bit too open when Ronald Sieger came free, but Bernhard Kliemann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd match minute, FC Hawaii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Däschner to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd match minute, Schmerold was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bastian Jursch to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Luigi Kursawe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Schmerold's supporters rose to their feet, but Luigi Kursawe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horst Dürr breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With 42 minutes on the clock, Julius Feike commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Bernhard Kliemann had in the 44thth minute some difficulties stopping Petrus Räder's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luigi Kursawe in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Horst Dürr saved FC Hawaii from getting behind. Luigi Kursawe received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Horst Dürr came out and tried to block the shot, but Luigi Kursawe slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 58th minute. If Luigi Kursawe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Klemens Gölz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Schmerold's Luigi Kursawe slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Horst Dürr. That made the score 0-4 after 71 minutes of play. After 73 played minutes Schmerold got a freekick which was hit by Klemens Gölz. Horst Dürr made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luigi Kursawe in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luigi Kursawe in the 81st minute of play forced FC Hawaii's goalkeeper Horst Dürr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Luigi Kursawe took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Horst Dürr to make any attempt to save it. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Schmerold's Luigi Kursawe in the 96th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Horst Dürr was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for FC Hawaii through an amazing save. Schmerold's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
