Gerrit Graf lost his temper 3 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Gerrit Graf hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Andi Tippelt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Frido Plaaten's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wolfram Ostendorff was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. RB Gladbach 93's Walther Reckmaier got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kristian Gebhard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Egon Møller's late challenge caught a RB Gladbach 93's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Egon Møller helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Leck Eier FC's Egon Møller got a free kick in the 16th minute. Wolfram Ostendorff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frido Plaaten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Klaus Buhler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Wolfram Ostendorff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, RB Gladbach 93's goal looked a bit too open when Frido Plaaten came free, but Wolfram Ostendorff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wolfram Ostendorff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Klaus Buhler, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Wolfram Ostendorff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rene Rudolf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marko Forberger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Walther Reckmaier in the 25th minute. When Egon Møller came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Leck Eier FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Egon Møller couldn't finish the play. Wolfram Ostendorff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rene Rudolf in the 31st minute of the match. Zaman Schwarz's late challenge caught a Leck Eier FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zaman Schwarz helped the player get up and apologised. Zaman Schwarz hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute of the match Frido Plaaten sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wolfram Ostendorff skillfully saved the ball. Walther Reckmaier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Marko Forberger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 40 minutes, Volko Feckter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leck Eier FC and the RB Gladbach 93 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Volko Feckter hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. RB Gladbach 93's Hamit Aretz quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Harald Schuchter, made in the 45th minute of the game. After having played for 45 minutes, Hamit Aretz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RB Gladbach 93's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hamit Aretz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kristian Gebhard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frido Plaaten to make the kick off. When Frido Plaaten came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Leck Eier FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frido Plaaten couldn't finish the play. Frido Plaaten succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-1 in the 55th playminute. Egon Møller hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Wolfram Ostendorff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frido Plaaten in the 61st minute of play. Walther Reckmaier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69thth minute of the game Hamit Aretz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leck Eier FC's Marko Forberger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. RB Gladbach 93's Wolfram Ostendorff proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save RB Gladbach 93 from getting a goal against them. Artur Bergmeister recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Harald Schuchter kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Artur Bergmeister took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marko Forberger. Leck Eier FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Leck Eier FC's zone, Zaman Schwarz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marko Forberger came out of the goal and Zaman Schwarz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Walther Reckmaier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Marko Forberger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marko Forberger didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Walther Reckmaier went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Leck Eier FC's Marko Forberger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walther Reckmaier in the 89th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Leck Eier FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for RB Gladbach 93.
