The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaroslaw Balski was the one to do the kick off. When André Gahl came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the FC Bayern fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that André Gahl couldn't finish the play. 62 minutes into the game, Lars Schnoor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Hawaii's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Bayern the free kick. A collision led to FC Hawaii getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Lars Schnoor hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Jaroslaw Balski put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Horst Dürr. Thilo Gläßel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Werner Korff in the 70th minute of play. Petrus Räder, 75 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Jaroslaw Balski sped through FC Hawaii's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Horst Dürr. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Heintje Schwantes managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Bayern's supporters rose to their feet, but Heintje Schwantes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horst Dürr breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jaroslaw Balski in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Horst Dürr prevented the ball from getting in the gole. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Bayern fully deserved thier win.
