Horst Dürr took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johannes Kläsener, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Die Krähen booed when FC Hawaii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Werner Korff didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arí Tande in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Horst Dürr saved FC Hawaii from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Die Krähen's Uwe Neubauer got a free kick in the 7th minute. Arí Tande struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Horst Dürr didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Die Krähen. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arí Tande in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Horst Dürr prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Johannes Kläsener took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Horst Dürr. Horst Dürr dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The supporters of FC Hawaii booed when Die Krähen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uwe Neubauer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Borys Gongola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petrus Räder, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The supporters of Die Krähen booed when FC Hawaii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petrus Räder didn't get a good kick on the ball. Michael Cremer-Ricken was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 41st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Michael Cremer-Ricken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After the first half Die Krähen were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

FC Hawaii's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Johannes Kläsener was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Johannes Kläsener might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Horst Dürr. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Johannes Kläsener ran back to his position shaking his head. Johannes Kläsener struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute Arí Tande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horst Dürr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Justin Kirsch kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. FC Hawaii's Horst Dürr proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Hawaii from getting a goal against them. After 76 played minutes FC Hawaii got a freekick which was hit by Paulus Fechner. Johannes Kläseners short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Horst Dürr to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Josip Pengel charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Josip Pengel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Josip Pengel hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Die Krähen's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
