Spectators: 7972 (Terracing: 5980, Seating: 1834, VIP seats: 158) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kunibert Ruge kicked off to start the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Kunibert Ruge managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wittensand FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kunibert Ruge was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marko Forberger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Frido Plaaten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rene Rudolf took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reto Kassube. Reto Kassube dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Wilfried Ditsche struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Marko Forberger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wittensand FC. After 18 minutes of play, Leck Eier FC's Frido Plaaten made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Reto Kassube was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 21st minute, Klaus Buhler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 23 minutes, Wilfried Ditsche managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wittensand FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilfried Ditsche was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Leck Eier FC's zone, Wilfried Ditsche stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marko Forberger came out of the goal and Wilfried Ditsche tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cornelis Voltz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marko Forberger. Leck Eier FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Kunibert Ruge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Marko Forberger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Klaus Buhler during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Leck Eier FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Klaus Buhler hit a great ball. The supporters of Leck Eier FC booed when Wittensand FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Bandmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute, Rene Rudolf left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leck Eier FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 47 minutes into the match, Wittensand FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Rudolf came free, but Reto Kassube reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Samuel Bandmann during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 49th minute, Samuel Bandmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Leck Eier FC's Andi Tippelt tried to score from far away in the 50th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Rene Rudolf made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Rudolf in the 54th minute of play forced Wittensand FC's goalkeeper Reto Kassube to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leck Eier FC's Frido Plaaten got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 59th match minute, Wittensand FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Bandmann to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd match minute, Leck Eier FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klaus Buhler to maneuver through the defense. Frido Plaaten in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Reto Kassube, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Frido Plaaten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wittensand FC's Samuel Bandmann got his second yellow card of the match in the 77th minute. The referee ordered Samuel Bandmann off the ground. After a rather tough play, Wittensand FC's Samuel Bandmann got a free kick in the 78th minute. Andi Tippelt was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 79th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Frido Plaaten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reto Kassube having to interfere. Frido Plaaten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reto Kassube read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Wilfried Ditsche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marko Forberger having to interfere. Frido Plaaten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Reto Kassube tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Leck Eier FC's André Kursinski got a free kick in the 97th minute. Wilfried Ditsche recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
